Flowers in Nepal



Flower is a part of plant that appears by the modification of vegetative shoot after attaining certain physiological maturity and bears reproductive parts. It’s the basic part, provides place to nourish the seeds in tender stage after fertilization for future generation of it.

The flowers are a part of the most important occasions in the human life and living creature. The flowers have meaning associated with them. The flowers are conspicuously present on birthday, funerals, graduation, weddings, etc. forming and integral part of our lives. In Nepalese culture flowers have religious significance too. Rhododendron flower is our National flower. Beautification, worshiping and greeting are the major significance of flowers in Nepalese culture.
