Ornamental plants in Bulbule Park, Surkhet

Surkhet is the one of the beautiful places in mid-western region of Nepal. It is also important place for economic point of view of the region. Bulbule Park is beautiful historic and religious place which situates nearby the Birendranager bazaar. Bulbule has been attracting youth of different places towards it. Further ornamental plants around the Bulbule Park add the attraction to the visitors specially school children and students of biology as the park conserves number of ornamental diversity.

Number of Bulbule Park visitors has been increased as it is free of noise pollution and it is full of beautiful plants around it. Every visitor has to pay Rs. 10 for entry to the park. There is also a lake which adds the beauty of the park where visitors use to boat on available two boats by paying Rs. 10 per person per time. Bulbule Park could be place for internal tourism improving the cleanliness and landscape design of the park.

While I was visiting Bulbule Park in 13 Poush, 2069 with two students, we identified most of ornamental plants in the park during the visit are given in Table 1.
